‘Abha Manav Mandir' Varishtha Nagarik Sewa Sadan (Senior Citizens' Care Home) is one the the projects in the series of Varishtha Nagarik Sewa activities started by
"MANISH GOVIL MEMORIAL TRUST" 

The Trust has already constructed a two floor building on a plot of 4200 sq. yds. at Panchvati Colony, Mawana Road, Meerut, which can presently accommodate 60 senior citizens. To expand its capacity for 100 inmates, the Trust will have to construct one more lift supported floor. The structure of the building has been designed to sustain the 3rd storey. 

Donations to this Trust are exempted from Income tax under section 80 G(5) VI Income tax Act 1961 vide Director of Income Tax (E), 3rd Floor, Aayakar Bhawan, Distt. Centre, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi - 92. Circular No.DIT(E)2007 - 2008 M - 1131/3994 Dated 20/03/2008 which has been extended up to 31/03/2011. The Trust has also been registered under Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act. 1976 as communicated vide letter no. 11/21022/83 (210) / 2006 - FCRA - II of Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, granting permission to accept donations in foreign currency. For those esteemed donors who want that their donations be remembered forever, the Trust has decided to write their names on additional rooms as below.

Names of all those donors who donate Rs. 21,000/- or more will be written on the Board of donors. Your single paisa is very precious for the senior citizens of India. 

The name of founder donor will be highlighted on plate fixed on the room. The founder donor will have the privilege to stay in this Sewa Sadan on becoming senior citizen or they can nominate one senior citizen in lieu of their donation. Abha Manav Mandir will arrange to provide accommodation with in a month time of such request. Such selection will take place according to the rules of the Sewa Sadan. A separate agreement will be signed between the Trust and the Founder Donor for the above.
